The PVDf pharmaceutical liquid precision flow sensor IR-OPFLOW covers a range from 0.1 to 120 L/min in six different flow sizes.

The precision flow sensor IR-OPFLOW for liquid medication covers a range from 0.1 to 120 L/min across six flow sizes. The wetted parts are made entirely of PVDF due to a unique design, achieving low friction and long lifespan. The output signal is picked up as a photoelectric signal, which is shaped into a rectangular form by a preamplifier before being output. The turndown ratio is wide at 30:1, and there is no need for a rectifying section upstream of the sensor, making it unaffected by installation orientation. The operating temperature range is broad, from -40 to 85°C, and measurement accuracy is available in two types: 1% and 3%. The operating pressure range is up to 1000 kPa at 80°C. The model U709 can accurately measure corrosive liquids from a low flow rate of 7 mL/min to 1000 mL/min in both intermittent and continuous operation.

The Model U709 series is a flow sensor that covers five measurement ranges for corrosive liquids, from a low flow rate of 7 mL/min to approximately 1000 mL/min. It is capable of accurately measuring liquids in both intermittent and continuous operation. It can detect liquids with a pump discharge time of 500 msec and a discharge volume starting from 1 mL. The wetted parts are made of Teflon, Kalrez, and sapphire. The sensor employs a Pelton-type micro-turbine wheel (patented), making it suitable for ultra-clean applications. It generates no particles, achieves excellent reproducibility, and allows for accurate long-term measurement of corrosive chemicals and solvents.
